Timbre is a film with an architect model of Le Corbusier’s never realized business centre in Algiers, Algeria. During 1938-42 Le Corbusier was commissioned to transform parts of Algiers but World War II put an end to the project. Le Corbusier cooperated many times with the Greek composer Iannis Xenakis. In the facade of the skyscraper there is a pattern which can be translated into a music timbre.
